Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely, using wheelchair, stretcher or bed, per staff directions.
• Attend training, in-service education, and departmental meetings for transport planning.
• Use transport software to support throughput and timely transports.
• Coordinate activities in discharged patient holding area.
• Handle portable oxygen cylinders safely and obtain transport equipment.
• Receive and document transport assignments.
• Maintain and sanitize medical equipment as required.
• Move oxygen tanks to proper storage and holders.
