Zusammenfassung

Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated Guest Services/Patient Transport associate in Charlotte to greet patients and visitors, assist with luggage, and transport them safely.

You will register patients, direct them to designated areas, and educate on available support services while maintaining a clean, safe environment and following policy guidelines. The role requires flexibility for 9:00PM–9:30AM shifts and alternating weekends.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Oral and written communication skills required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in hospital, hotel, restaurant or customer oriented environment preferred.
• BLS certification within 6 months.

Aufgaben

• Greet and assist patients/visitors on arrival to the facility.
• Assist patients/visitors with luggage and assistance in/out vehicle.
• Process valet claim ticket according to operating procedures.
• Safely valet park, secure and retrieve in designated parking area.
• Direct patients, visitors and staff to appropriate parking areas.
• Participate in the registration of all patients and visitors.
• Coordinate activities to assist patients and visitors to designated areas.
• Educate patients and visitors and provide information about essential support services.
• Operate company vehicles safely for transport of passengers, equipment and materials.
• Instruct passengers on vehicle safety.
• Maintain traffic control at front drives and entrances, ensuring no parking zones are clear.
• Enforce Tobacco Free Environment Policy as required.
• Coordinate activities across Lobby, Discharged Patient Holding, Hospitality Suite, etc.
• Assist in retrieving, cleaning and storing transport equipment.
• Inspect equipment before and after use and report defects.
