Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated valet/transport associate at 12875 Carolinas Medical Center - LC: Patient Experience: Morehead in Charlotte, NC. The role supports patient and visitor mobility, greets guests, and assists with luggage and transport needs.

The position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, and 2+ years in a customer-oriented setting. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:45am–5:15pm, 40 hours per week, with pay range $19.80–$29.70 per

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Oral and written communication skills, and organization skills required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hospital, hotel, restaurant or customer oriented environment preferred.
• BLS certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients/visitors on arrival.
• Assist with luggage and in/out vehicle.
• Process valet ticket according to procedures.
• Safely valet park; direct parking areas.
• Assist registration of patients/visitors.
• Coordinate activities to assist patients/visitors to designated areas.
• Provide education to patients/visitors regarding essential support services.
• Operate company vehicles safely for transport of passengers, equipment and materials.
• Maintain traffic flow on front drives and entrances.
• Inspect equipment and report defects; ensure safety and cleanliness.
