Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring Patient Transporters for the Charlotte, NC area. Both full-time and part-time night shifts (9:30 pm–6:00 am) are available. Prior customer service experience is required, and the role involves safe patient transport within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Ability to work nights, full-time or part-time schedules (3rd shift).
• Demonstrates safe patient transport and proper handling of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports patients, secures IVs, drainage tubes, and other medical items.
• Uses wheelchairs and rolling stock to move patients as assigned.
• Demonstrates competency in transporting patients of all age groups.
• Ensures timely and accurate transport to destinations using proper equipment.
• Communicates effectively with nursing staff and other clinical personnel.
• Ensures patient comfort and privacy; adheres to HIPAA and facility policies.
• Reports any patient distress or equipment malfunction to nursing staff.
• Maintains equipment and reports repairs when needed.
• Adheres to regulatory standards and facility safety protocols.
