OhioHealth is seeking a Service Excellence Ambassador to provide outstanding customer service to patients, families, visitors, and physicians. The role involves gathering patient location and status information, facilitating communication, and acting as an advocate to resolve delays while maintaining confidentiality.

Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM, 2 shifts per week on a rotating schedule including Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of conflict resolution and interpersonal communication.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and diversity training.

Responsabilités

• Provide information to visitors, families, patients while maintaining confidentiality.
• Communicate between patient, family and hospital staff.
• Act as an advocate by investigating and expediting admissions and delays.
• Resolve problems and escalate when necessary.
• Respond to special needs and ensure they are met.
• Greet, direct, escort visitors and patients; assist with wheelchairs when necessary.
• Answer multi-line phone; transfer calls to appropriate location.
• Oversee information desks and lobbies for cleanliness and order.
