Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Service Excellence Ambassador to provide outstanding customer service to patients, families, visitors and physicians. You will facilitate communication, gather information and protect confidentiality while advocating for patients and expediting admissions when needed.

Responsibilities include greeting and guiding visitors, assisting with wheelchairs, answering multi-line phones, and ensuring cleanliness and order at information desks and lobbies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum two years of experience in a consumer advocacy or service role.
• Knowledge of conflict resolution and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, visitors and staff.
• Communicate between patient, family and hospital staff while maintaining confidentiality.
• Advocate for patients by investigating concerns and expediting admission and other delays.
• Resolve problems and escalate when necessary.
• Respond to special needs and ensure needs are met.
• Greet, guide and escort visitors and patients; assist with wheelchairs.
• Answer multi-line phone and transfer callers to appropriate location.
• Oversee information desks and lobbies for cleanliness and orderly work areas.
