Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Service Excellence Ambassador to provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, visitors and physicians. The role includes gathering information, advocating for patients, and coordinating with hospital staff while maintaining confidentiality.

The position involves two-week rotating night shifts, responsibilities on weekends, and coordinating with the information desks to ensure a welcoming, orderly environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Two years of consumer advocacy or service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of conflict resolution, interpersonal communication and negotiations helpful.

Responsibilities

• 75% of role is facilitating communication between patient, family and staff and acting as patient advocate.
• Oversee information desks and lobbies, provide directions and assistance to visitors.
• Respond to inquiries by phone, transfer calls and maintain confidentiality.
