Community Health Systems, Inc. is hiring a Patient Care Technician for Emergency Services on the full-time night shift.

The PCT provides high-quality, patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision, assisting with daily living activities and maintaining a safe, organized care environment. Key duties include taking and recording vital signs, helping with meals, bathing, mobility, catheter care, and reporting results to the nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in acute care setting preferred.
• CNA certification preferred or currently enrolled in nursing program.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) within 90 days of hire required

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe, organized environment.
• Record and report vital signs and patient data to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Support patients with meals, bathing, grooming, mobility, and catheter care.
• Communicate patient information effectively to the care team and adhere to safety protocols.
• Maintain infection control practices and use PPE as required.
• Attend to patient comfort and safety, and assist with ADLs as delegated.
