Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Patient Care Technician for night shift. Under a nurse's supervision, you will perform routine, delegated patient care procedures and basic clinical tasks to support patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include assisting with dressing, transporting patients, recognizing abnormal findings, reporting to nurses, and obtaining vital signs. A CNA and BLS certification are required, with at least one year of clinical experience or completion

Formación

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
• BLS certification provided or required by the program.
• One year of clinical experience or completion of an intern program.
• Ability to take and report vital signs and basic patient data.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients with changing clothes and dressing.
• Transport patients by stretcher, bed, or wheelchair as a primary duty.
• Identify abnormal findings that could affect outcomes and report them.
• Escort patients to holding rooms and orient them to the environment.
• Obtain vital signs and document clinical data.
• Verify patient information and communicate with nursing staff.
