Atlantic Health Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains, NJ, is seeking a Patient Care Technician I for full-time night shifts (7pm–7am) in the Nursing Resource department. The role supports physicians and nurses by assisting with daily patient care, vital signs, and basic procedures, while ensuring compassionate, patient-centered service.

Required HS diploma and BLS; prior acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Prior acute care experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, dressing.
• Obtains and records vital signs, weights, and heights.
• Assists patients with mobility: ambulation, transfers and ROM activities.
• Performs phlebotomy, EKGs and blood glucose monitoring.
• Observes and reports changes in patients' condition to the RN.
