Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care across our facilities in Pompton Plains, NJ. The role collaborates with a healthcare team to monitor patients, administer medications, document care, and educate patients.

This full-time night position runs 7pm to 7:30am with weekend and holiday rotations. Schedule requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, NJ RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience.
• BSN preferred; ASN must complete BSN within five years; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans with the healthcare team.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills

Nursing experience (1 year)

Education

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program

Current RN license (New Jersey)

BLS certification

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred)

ASN-to-BSN within 5 years (preferred)

Master’s degree in nursing or related field (preferred)
