Job summary

Atlantic Health in Pompton Plains, NJ seeks a Registered Nurse to work nights in our acute care setting. You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to treat patients with injuries, illnesses and disabilities, monitor patient status and administer medications during 7pm–7:30am shifts, with weekend and holiday rotation.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure in the state, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.
• Preferred: BSN; ASN to BSN within five years; MSN preferred.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience or relevant area.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
