Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PCT course, Fundamentals nursing course in RN program, CNA program, or 1 year of direct patient care experience required.
• BLS certification required; Phlebotomy training emphasized for ED positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding, hygiene, and mobility.
• Monitor vital signs and perform basic procedures as directed by RN/LPN.
• Communicate status changes to the healthcare team and document appropriately.
• Support patient education and safety, participate in satisfaction initiatives and PI activities.
• Assist in orientation of new hires.
