Job summary

White Oak Medical Center seeks a Patient Care Technician for the Heart and Vascular Unit. You will support nursing staff by performing vital signs and activities of daily living under supervision, following the care plan and reporting to the Registered Nurse.

The role requires a Maryland CNA license, successful CNA exam completion, and a BLS certification, with strong English skills and computer proficiency. Night shifts, weekends every other rotation, and shift differential apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Successful completion of a CNA or first year Nursing School program and CNA exam required.
• Maryland CNA license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Follow care plan and receive report from the RN.
• Identify safety concerns and report equipment issues.
• Participate in ongoing education programs and professional initiatives.
