Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican Neighborhood Hospital is seeking a Patient Access Specialist for night shifts to facilitate patient tracking, verify demographics, secure payments, and collect out-of-pocket responsibilities to maximize hospital reimbursement.

Responsibilities include insurance verification, obtaining authorizations, handling registrations, and supporting transfer of patients between facilities. Requires strong customer service and knowledge of payor types.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years of patient registration and insurance verification experience preferred.
• Emergency Department registration experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO, PPO, POS, Medicare, Medicaid) and payors is required.
• Fluency in English; English & Spanish fluency required in the El Paso Market.

Responsibilities

• Maintain EMTALA, DNV, HIPAA compliance and handle Medical Records.
• Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships.
