Qualifications

• Knowledge of various insurance plans (HMO, PPO, POS, Medicare, Medicaid) and payors required.
• Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency required in El Paso market.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient tracking and billing by collecting demographic information.
• Verify insurance benefits and confirm correct payor and plan in the patient accounting system.
• Obtain insurance authorizations as required by plans.
• Maintain accurate registration and healthcare records in the system.
• Provide excellent customer service and protect patient safety through proper identification.
