Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Registrar/Financial Advocate to support the Summit WI clinic. You will create initial electronic health records, register patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and explain coverage details to patients while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a high-volume environment with rotating shifts. This position is on-site and eligible for benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate required.
• No prior experience required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality is essential.

Responsibilities

• Create the initial electronic health record foundation for the patient chart.
• Register patients, verify demographics and insurance, collect co-pays and responsibilities.
• Explain insurance basics and refer patients to Financial Advocates as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient information.
