Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Night Shift Patient Access / Financial Services liaison for our 16-bed small-format hospitals.

You will verify demographics, secure payments, and coordinate payer information across multiple facilities in Shavano Park, Thousand Oaks, and Overloopk, working 7pm–7am with weekends (Fri–Sun). Key requirements include 1 year in patient registration and insurance verification, knowledge of insurance plans, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 1 year of patient registration and insurance verification experience in a health care setting, required; 2 years preferred.
• Knowledge of various insurance plans (HMO, PPO, POS, Medicare, Medicaid) and payors.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between patient, payers, and hospital teams; obtain and verify demographic information.
• Verify insurance benefits and confirm payor and plan in the patient accounting system.
• Obtain insurance authorizations as required by plans; maximize revenue cycle efficiency.
• Maintain medical records and scan documents; respond to record requests from patients and hospitals.
• Provide excellent customer service; handle inquiries and coordinate patient transfers when needed.
