Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous, professional manner in person and over the phone.
• Register new patients and accurately update demographic, insurance, and billing information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits and collect copays, deductibles, and payments.
• Facilitate patient flow by notifying staff of arrivals and communicating delays.
• Answer phones and route calls as needed and provide general information.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Perform clerical tasks including copying, scanning, and filing.
• Maintain clean and organized waiting areas and front desk.
• Assist with supply management and stocking as needed.
• Support patients and families with a friendly, reassuring approach.
