Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Cardiovascular Medical Surgical Care Unit at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, IL. This part-time night shift role (24 hours) offers $19.71–$28.58 per hour with rotating weekends.

The PCT works under RN/LPN direction to deliver compassionate patient care and safety across age groups. Responsibilities include patient interactions, basic nursing tasks, ADL support, and coordination during admissions, discharges, and transfers.

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of an accredited CNA training course preferred.
• Licenses: BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Provide ADL support and daily activities to patients.
• Answer call lights and support patient safety and comfort.
• Assist with admission, discharge, transfers, and room setup.
• Document care activities and report concerns to nursing staff.
