Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician, Cardiac Medical Telemetry, to support RN/LPN with patient care tasks at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, IL. The role is full time with night shift and rotating weekends, 36 hours per week, with on-site responsibilities.

Responsibilities include hourly rounding, basic nursing care, vital signs, ADLs, patient comfort, safe handling, discharge preparation, and collaboration with the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork and communication.
• CNA training or equivalent and BLS certification preferred.
• No prior experience required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors, answer call lights and phones, and perform hourly rounding.
• Assist with safe patient handling, ambulation, and repositioning under RN/LPN supervision.
• Provide basic nursing care including personal care, feeding, and ADLs under supervision.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfers and transport patients as needed.
• Document patient care activities, vital signs, weights, intake/output, and urine/blood testing under supervision.
• Support department needs by restocking, cleaning equipment, and delivering supplies.
