Endeavor Health in Glenview, IL is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Cardiovascular Medical-Surgical Care Unit. The role supports nursing staff by providing routine patient care, safety, and comfort, under RN/LPN supervision.

Living near Glenview and being eligible to work in the US are required. The position is full-time, night shift with rotating weekends, 36 hours per week, with the opportunity to gain experience across acute care settings.

Qualifikationen

• Eligible to work in the US.
• CNA training course preferred.
• Nursing clinical rotation in medical/surgical nursing preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Aufgaben

• Interact with patients and visitors; answer call lights and phones; perform hourly rounding.
• Learn and assist in safe patient handling, ambulation, transfers, and repositioning with Safe Patient Handling equipment.
• Provide basic nursing care: bathing, grooming, oral care, eating, bed making, and responding to patient needs under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers; orient patients to rooms and hospital procedures.
• Accurately document patient care activities including vitals, weight, intake/output; assist with procedures under supervision; maintain skin integrity by reporting issues.
• Support department teammates with restocking, cleaning equipment, answering calls, and delivering supplies.
