Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician in the Cardiac Post Procedural Care Unit at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview. This part-time, day-shift role (7am-3:30pm) with 24 hours per week supports RNs/LPNs and provides essential patient care to ensure comfort and safety.

The position requires strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and the ability to follow directions. CNA training preferred and BLS certification is required; weekends rotate.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• CNA training course preferred.
• At least one nursing clinical rotation preferred.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors, answer call lights, and assist visitors; perform hourly rounding.
• Assist in patient ambulation and safe handling with equipment; support nursing staff as needed.
• Provide ADLs such as bathing, grooming, eating, and personal care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfers; orient patients to rooms and hospital procedures.
• Accurately document vital signs, intake/output, weight, and other care activities; communicate findings.
