NorthShore University HealthSystem is seeking a Patient Care Technician for Cardiac Medical Telemetry at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, IL. This part-time role covers evening shifts with rotating weekends and includes 24 hours per week.

The PCT works under RN/LPN direction to provide patient care, safety, and comfort on an adult unit. Responsibilities include hourly rounding, basic nursing tasks, patient transfers, and documentation.

Competenze

• Eligible to work in the US is required.
• Completion of an accredited certified nursing assistant (CNA) training course preferred.
• Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred.
• Current BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider is required.

Mansioni

• Interact with patients and visitors, answering call lights and phones; hourly rounding.
• Assist with basic nursing care and activities of daily living under RN/LPN supervision.
• Aid in admission, discharge and transfer procedures and transport patients as needed.
• Document patient care activities and monitor patient status under supervision.
