Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of Certified Nursing Attendant program or minimum 6 months relevant experience.
• BLS/Heartsaver CPR/AED certification required on entry or upon entry to the position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Admission/Transfer/Discharge processes and orient patients.
• Conduct patient rounds for toileting, positioning, and comfort; respond to call bells.
• Set up O2 and suction equipment; assist with hygiene and comfort tasks.
• Prepare patients for meals and assist with feeding.
• Assist RN with basic treatments and post-procedure care.
• Collect specimens and report changes to the RN; monitor alarms and patient safety.
• Move, transport, and position patients; maintain clean and safe environments.
