Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for night shifts to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and support the nursing team under an RN's supervision.

Requirements include a CNA certification and a high school diploma or GED. Prior long-term care experience is preferred, and continuing education and training are offered.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with basic health care needs including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dining.
• Records vital signs and provides psychosocial support.
• Documents resident interactions and communicates changes to the charge nurse.
• Supports transfer, positioning, and mobility using proper techniques.
