Job summary

Sanford Health in the upper Midwest is seeking a Nursing Assistant to deliver resident-centered care in long-term care, under RN supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, help with transfers, and document care in the resident chart.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, minimum age 16, and CNA certification (or in process within four months). A $5K sign-on bonus and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with State Board of Nursing or in process within four months.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and basic health care needs.
• Record vital signs, assist with transfers and mobility using proper technique.
• Provide psychosocial support and document care and outcomes in the chart.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the charge nurse and participate in infection control.
