Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will support daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and assist with mobility under RN supervision.

This role includes evening shifts (2:30p-11:00p) with a $1.25 differential after 6pm and weekends, and a 40-hour work week. Required CNA certification with the state, or enrollment in a CNA training program.

Qualifications

• CNA certification is required and provided by the facility.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior CNA experience in long-term care is preferred.
• 12 hours of continuing education are required annually.
• CNA certification within four months of start date or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meals) as assigned.
• Obtain and record vital signs and provide routine nursing care under RN supervision.
• Support mobility with transfers and range-of-motion exercises as appropriate.
• Document resident care, responses and outcomes; communicate changes to the charge nurse.
