Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant on a 0.9 FTE night shift at our Illinois hospital. The role supports nursing staff with patient care, daily activities, and documentation in the EMR, while contributing to admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.

Eligible for benefits with full-time status, 36 hours per week, and a pay range of $20.80–$31.20 per hour. Training and certifications are required within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED/HSED required.
• State Nurse Aide registration in good standing; BLS within 45 days.
• Basic computer skills and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care, including bathing, feeding, and mobility.
• Record vital signs and document in EMR.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Maintain patient environment and transport supplies.
