Qualifications

Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
Licensure: Ohio RN license required.
Certification: BLS required; PALS/NRP/ACLS/TNCC preferred.
Experience: minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
Supervision: prior charge nurse/clinical coordinator or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee staffing and nursing operations across units during assigned shifts.
Coordinate patient placement with Transfer Center and throughput.
Respond to emergencies and codes; activate Hospital Emergency Incident Command when necessary.
Monitor department budget and control expenditures.
Support nursing staff to ensure adherence to care protocols and quality standards.
Communicate with Nursing Management about situations impacting patients, staff, or hospital.
Collaborate to maintain operational aspects of patient care units.
