Akron Children's Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse for full-time night shifts to provide patient-centered nursing care in a pediatric setting. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and evidence-based practice while supporting physicians and the healthcare team to deliver safe and efficient care.

The position requires a BSN (or completion within five years), an Ohio RN license, and a current BLS certification, with at least one year of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN is required or must be obtained within 5 years from date of hire.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• A valid, active Ohio RN license is required.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and direct nursing care with family-centered focus.
• Provide care addressing physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs of patients.
• Demonstrate leadership and professional duties within the team.
• Deliver patient-centered care and ensure quality improvement and safety practices.
• Mentor staff and contribute to staff education on clinical topics.
