The incumbent will support nursing staff, participate in educational efforts, and serve as a liaison during codes or emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Pediatrics experience is required.
• Experience with all levels of organization is required.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand the business, financials, industry trends, patient needs, and strategy.
• Provide support to nursing staff to ensure adherence to care protocols.
• Assist in monitoring department budget and expenditure controls.
• Promote quality care by supporting staffing during assigned shifts.
• Visit patient care units to assess conditions and staffing needs.
• Communicate with Nursing Management about critical situations impacting patients or staff.
• Assist in decision-making and notify Administrator on call when necessary.
• Collaborate to maintain operational aspects of patient care units.
