Hartford Hospital in Connecticut seeks a Patient Care Administrative Nurse Supervisor for the 24-hour night shift, every other weekend, with rotating holidays. This RN will supervise nursing departments, ensuring quality patient care in alignment with regulatory standards.

The role provides leadership in the absence of senior management, drives process improvements, and collaborates to optimize bed management and capacity across units. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• 3 years of acute care charge or supervisory experience required.
• Critical care or emergency department nursing experience may be required in acute care environments.
• Progressive leadership experience.
• Active Registered Nurse license from the State of Connecticut required.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsabilités

• Supervise and monitor Nursing departments on assigned shift per standards and regulations.
• Provide leadership in absence of unit manager, director or administration.
• Ensure delivery of direct and indirect patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Lead quality, safety initiatives aligned with Balanced Scorecard and strategic plan.
• Implement evidence-based strategies to transform care delivery and optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate on clinical quality initiatives and present data-driven reports to leaders.
• Coordinate with Clinical Logistics Center to manage isolation beds and optimize bed availability.
