Hartford Hospital—at 80 Seymour Street—is seeking a Night Shift Patient Care Administrative Nurse Supervisor. This 24-hour leadership role oversees multiple departments, with every other weekend and rotating holiday shifts to support continuous patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required.
• 3 years of acute care charge or supervisory experience is required.
• Critical care or emergency department nursing experience may be required in acute care environments.
• Progressive leadership experience.
• Active Registered Nurse license from the State of Connecticut is required.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor Nursing departments on assigned shift per standards and regs.
• Provide leadership in the absence of unit manager or administration.
• Ensure delivery of direct and indirect patient care via the Nursing Process.
• Lead quality improvement aligned with Balanced Scorecard and strategic plan.
• Collaborate with Clinical Logistics Center to manage beds and isolation spaces.
