Job summary

Advocate Health’s Union department seeks a Part-time Nurse Aide I for night PRN coverage. Assist patients with daily living activities, personal care, vital signs, and mobility, while maintaining clean rooms and accurate records.

Role includes clerical tasks, data entry, PHI handling, and potential ECG/venipuncture duties, per training. BLS required; DFS Nurse Aide Registry listing as Nurse Aide I and high school diploma or GED are mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current DFS Nurse Aide Registry listing as Nurse Aide I.
• BLS required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients with activities of daily living.
• Assists with personal hygiene.
• Takes vital signs and height/weight measurements.
• Feeds and ambulates patients per procedures.
• Maintains clean, orderly patient rooms.
• Observes and reports condition changes.
• Orients patients and families to unit; instructs on safety.
