Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care and activities.
• Measure and document vitals and intake/output in EMR.
• Perform purposeful rounding and communicate observations to RN.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Ensure patient call light is within reach and respond promptly.
• Maintain supplies and clean equipment in the nursing area.
• Handle basic specimen collection and related tasks.
