Job summary

Medical City Las Colinas is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Level IV NICU to provide exceptional nursing care on the night shift (7P-7A) in a high-acuity 108-bed unit. You will perform comprehensive assessments and lead care plans while mentoring junior staff within an experienced team.

The role requires 1 year of NICU experience and current Texas RN licensure; magnets experience and ongoing education are valued. This is a full-time opportunity within a leading HCA Healthcare network.

Qualifications

• ADN/BSN degree required with 12 month enrollment and 24 month completion (Magnet Hospital)
• Texas State RN license or compact license accepted
• 1 year recent Level III or IV NICU RN experience in an acute care hospital
• STABLE must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS required

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and provide direct patient care
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources
• Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN scope of practice and in accordance with established policies
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice
