Job summary

Medical City Las Colinas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Level IV NICU to provide high-quality, compassionate care in a 108-bed unit. The night shift (7P-7A) is a full-time role requiring critical NICU skills and teamwork.

The ideal candidate will hold a TX RN license (or compact), have NICU experience, and meet certification requirements (STABLE, NRP, BLS, PALS). Our hospital emphasizes Magnet standards and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• RN license in TX or compact license required
• 1 year NICU experience in acute care (Level III or IV)
• ADN/BSN with 12-month enrollment and 24-month completion (Magnet Hospital)
• STABLE certification within 18 months of start date
• Neonatal Resuscitation within 6 months of start date
• BLS or instructor certification within 30 days
• PALS certification required

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and direct patient care
• Plan, implement and evaluate care plans to optimize outcomes
• Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within RN scope of practice
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice
