Job summary

Medical City Las Colinas is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Level IV NICU to provide expert bedside care on a full-time night shift (7P-7A). The role emphasizes comprehensive assessments, care planning, and staff supervision within RN scope while integrating teaching into practice.

Applicants should hold ADN/BSN and a Texas RN license, with NICU experience and current certifications (STABLE, NRP, BCLS, PALS).

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN required with 12 month enrollment and 24 month completion (Magnet Hospital).
• Texas State RN license or compact license accepted.
• 1 year recent NICU RN experience in an acute care hospital.
• STABLE must be obtained within 18 months of start date.
• Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• PALS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and direct patient care.
• Plan, implement and evaluate care plans to optimize outcomes and resources.
• Supervise non-licensed staff within RN scope of practice.
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.
