Job summary

Medical City Las Colinas is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The role covers full-time night shifts (7 PM–7 AM) with a focus on high-quality, compassionate care in a busy NICU.

The ideal candidate will hold ADN or BSN, Texas RN license (or compact), and have at least 1 year of recent Level III/IV NICU experience. Required certifications include STABLE, Neonatal Resuscitation, PALS, and BCLS within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN required.
• Texas State RN license or compact license accepted.
• 1 year recent Level III/IV NICU RN experience in acute care hospital.
• STABLE must be obtained within 18 months of start date.
• Neonatal Resuscitation must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• PALS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and direct patient care in NICU.
• Plan, implement and evaluate care plans to optimize outcomes.
• Supervise non-licensed staff within RN scope.
• Incorporate teaching into nursing practice.
