Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry or Biology (or equivalent).
• ASCP certification required; CLS/ MLS credentials highly preferred.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience as a Medical Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in duties of a Medical Technologist I and II.
• Perform and report analytical tests per SOP, with QC compliance.
• Support lab policies for specimen handling, testing, and record-keeping.
• Ensure turnaround time including STATS/critical results for clients.
• Review QC data, verify instrument function, and make assay decisions.
• Investigate analytical problems and advise on appropriate actions.
• Supervise workflow, train staff, and assist with performance appraisals.
• Optimize production flow and coordinate inter-department resolution.
• Maintain a safe, clean lab environment and complete competency checks.
