Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc in Fremont, MI is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist II - Generalist to support various clinical departments on a night shift (6:45 PM–6:45 AM, 3 days a week). A $9,000 sign-on bonus is available for external candidates.

Candidates with MLS/MLT certification or pending certification are encouraged to apply, with training provided. Responsibilities include performing high- and moderate-complexity tests, ensuring QC, and reporting results while adhering to SOPs and safety

Qualifications

• 1 year full-time experience or training in a clinical laboratory setting.
• MLS/MLT certification welcomed; new grads pending certification may apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform test procedures of moderate/high complexity with independent judgment.
• Provide quality control support and troubleshoot instruments/procedures.
• Report test results and maintain records in the LIMS.
• Maintain safe, sanitary lab areas and comply with CLIA/HIPAA/OSHA.
