Job summary

SENIOR HOUSING MANAGERS GROUP in Hood River, OR is seeking a Universal Caregiver / Medication Aide for its Assisted Living and Residential Care Communities. This role involves direct resident interaction and requires providing detailed information about resident status to ensure appropriate actions, monitoring health changes, and communicating observations promptly.

The position includes full-time hours with graveyard shift, benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and PTO, ongoing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three months of related experience with seniors.
• Valid CPR, First Aid, and Food Handlers cards (can be obtained during onboarding).
• Pre-Service Universal Caregiver training is required.
• Ongoing training provided by leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living per care plan.
• Medication setup and administration after training.
• Update resident records in a timely manner.
• Report changes in residents' health or behavior to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment and assist with meals.
• Attend staff trainings and participate in team meetings.
