Job summary

Senior Housing Managers Group in Grants Pass, Oregon seeks a Universal Caregiver / Medication Aide for our assisted living and residential care communities. The role involves direct interaction with residents, delivering care per individualized service plans and communicating changes to the supervisor.

You will assist with activities of daily living, medication setup after training, and help maintain a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months related experience with seniors.
• Basic computer skills.
• CPR, First Aid and Food Handler cards (can be acquired during hiring).
• Pre-Service Universal Caregiver training required as onboarding.
• Ongoing training provided by the Executive Director and Oregon Care Partners to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living per service plan in a compassionate manner.
• Medication setup and administration, when needed, after training.
• Update resident records in a timely manner per policy.
• Report changes in resident health or behavior to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment; perform housekeeping tasks as required.
• Prepare and cook food as per posted menus; assist with meals.
• Attend staff trainings and in-service meetings; perform additional duties as assigned.
