Job summary

Senior Housing Managers in Hood River, OR is seeking a Universal Caregiver to provide direct resident care in Assisted Living and Residential Care Communities. You will monitor residents’ health, document changes, and communicate with the team to ensure appropriate actions are taken.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills/knowledge
• CPR, First Aid and Food Handlers cards (can be acquired during hiring)
• Pre-Service Universal Caregiver training required
• Ongoing training provided by Executive Director and Oregon Care Partners

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living with compassion and attentiveness.
• Medication setup and administration after training.
• Update resident records per policy and procedures.
• Report changes in resident health or behavior to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow housekeeping schedules.
• Prepare and cook meals per posted menus and assist with serving.
• Assist with daily activities and document participation.
• Attend staff trainings and in-service meetings.
• Additional duties as assigned by Executive Director or team lead.
