Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Medical Technologist/POC/MLS to provide technical assistance and patient care in a 20-bed hospital setting near New Freedom, PA. This role supports specimen analysis, reporting results, and supervision of assigned lab activities.

You will work the night shift (7P–7A) and participate in pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic lab activities, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over the first year and various shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological/Physical Sciences or MLS/MLT required.
• Current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross required.
• Act 33/Act 73 clearances or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• MLS/MLT certification by ASCP or AMT for Nevada market; supervise license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests in all areas of the laboratory per protocols to ensure compliance.
• Collect and process specimens and report results per procedures.
• Perform QC, maintenance, troubleshooting for instruments and reagents.
• Validate results and support QA issues; ensure safety and patient privacy.
• Assist with IV starts, phlebotomy, EKGs and patient care tasks as needed.
• Coordinate with Laboratory Director and teams for integrated services.
