Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a part-time Call Center Representative to deliver outstanding service to patients. You will handle inbound calls, triage urgency, and direct urgent matters per established procedures to support quality patient care.

The role includes scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling appointments, assisting with patient communications, and documenting messages in the EMR system. A strong focus on customer service and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or eligible with work permit for minors).
• Credentials/licensure: None
• Minimum experience: 1–2 years in medical/physician office or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers calls for Ancillary Services.
• Schedules, confirms, and reschedules appointments.
• Answers phones, responds to inquiries, and routes messages.
• Assists with patient communications and MyChart support.
• Records messages for physicians and staff accurately in the EMR system.
• Obtains out-of-network authorizations.
• Answers patient, insurance and office calls related to referrals and prior authorizations.
