McLane Company, Inc. in Morristown, TN is seeking a skilled Mechanic II to perform maintenance and repairs on trailer refrigeration systems and diesel engines. You will diagnose complex issues, perform alignments, and work both independently and with a team to keep our fleet running smoothly.

Qualifications include 2 years of diesel repair experience and a valid Class C license; ASE PMI (T8) certification within 1 year is preferred. Flexible scheduling with on-call duties is required.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED; heavy duty diesel/refrigeration training preferred.
• 2 years diesel repairs on tractor-trailer and refrigeration maintenance.
• 1 year fleet maintenance experience or Class C tech with the company.
• Own basic hand tools (up to ½" drive).
• Within 1 year obtain ASE PMI (T8).
• Valid Class C license; Class A preferred.
• Ability to read/write English for job tasks and safety.
• Willing to work on-call and road calls as needed.

• Perform maintenance and repairs on trailer refrigeration.
• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild brakes, drivetrains, and transmissions.
• Diagnose and tune up diesel engines; perform alignment tasks.

• Maintain shop tools and uphold safety rules.
