Job summary

Atkore International is seeking a Manufacturing Lead for the Pendleton, Oregon plant. You will operate, set up, troubleshoot and optimize equipment during production, reporting totals in the JDE system and mentoringMachine Operators on a 12-hour night shift.

You will ensure safety, quality and efficiency, perform basic maintenance, and coordinate with leadership to meet shift performance goals. This role supports the Atkore safety culture and manufacturing priorities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts.
• Must wear proper PPE (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toe shoes, gloves, high visibility vest).
• Reading/evaluating documents with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with Material Handlers and Operators.
• Able to read and use different measurement tools.
• Math knowledge and MS Office skills.
• Previous manufacturing experience with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Previous machine operating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely set up machines for production runs, including adjustments and changeovers.
• Report production totals in JDE, record production data, and assist with shift reports.
• Serve as manufacturing technical expert for identified processes.
• Oversee floor operations and escalate issues to leadership.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality, troubleshoot with support teams.
• Perform minor preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Track shift goals on hour x hour boards and progress toward targets.
• Mentor Machine Operators I-III.
