Job summary

International Motors USA seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer for night shift to maintain production, diagnose issues, and implement rapid solutions. The role starts on day shift and transitions to night shift as the operation ramps in early 2027.

You will own torque tooling, assembly equipment, and fixtures, with a focus on safety, uptime, and cost optimization. A BS in engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive/manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of torque tooling, fixtures, and jigs.
• Familiarity with PFMEA and control plans.

Responsibilities

• Respond to process issues and downtime to keep lines running.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes and workflows.
• Design and support fixtures, jigs, tooling, gauges, and aids.
• Use structured problem solving to identify root causes.
• Analyze data to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Create/process PFMEAs, control plans, and standardized work.
• Support new product launches, changes, and validation.
• Lead Lean, 5S, waste reduction, and continuous improvement.
